Apv301
A few years ago I played homeworld on my (even then outdated) dial-up, and loved it, but the bane of my existance was how horrible I was at the game. My only questionable ability was managing to use ioncannon frigates as a complete replacement to fighters, and still pull out a win now and then. ??However after sometime a player named Revocation played me, and offered to teach me how to play the game like a pro. He trained me for awhile, and while I didn't quite understand all that he taught me, I did absorb it all. ??A few months ago I reinstalled homeworld, and for the first time 'nearly' cleared the story thanks to his tutelage. I got totally stymied at the laboratory/asteroid belt/ minelayer stage lol. At anyrate, I found out soon after my story mode rage quit that the online servers were nolonger online, which was crushing...??However, a few weeks ago I found a new game of space carnage that was dial up friendly! Star Wars: Empire at War. It feels so comfortable to play, it's like a painted over homeworld, I love. I'm also fairly good at the game, because the tricks Revocation taught me for Homeworld, have helped me quite a bit in EaW (with some slight changes).??Revocation was the one who introduced me to SF, so my question is this.??Why are there no SF clan members owning the EaW lobbies? I've seen a few clan names appearing beside play names, but have yet to see the SF title appear.Come on guys, I remember when SF RULED the homeworld lobbies. Seeing you're on Sins I'm positive your ruling there. Why not EaW???
EldarFleet|SF
I don't think SF got into empire at war, nor did they intend to. However the Homeworld online community is still going. Since the WON servers were taken down we are using something called 'gameranger' to play online games.
