ok so, i normally try to stay away from MMO games cuz they have a tendency to overthrow your life, however for all my space pilot junkies out there this is the game. its Battlestar Galactica online and its right off the web browser, its free and in open beta right now. its a lot like homeworld in the fact that yes its in space, but where in homeworld you control an entire army of fighters and battlecruisers and the such in this you control just the one ship that you currently own. it is a MMO so your building your character and skills to a higher level at all times starting out with a simple viper (fighter class) moving all the way up to the massive Line ships (battle cruser)
i strongly suggest having a look at it, just head over to www.syfy.com and click on their tab for games in the top right. then just look for the link for the battlestar galactica online its not hard to find they advertise it all over.
if you do start up and enjoy playing it, join the Caprica server, thats the one im on.
