Hes got the CPU overclocked to 3.2ghz right now.

The guy is asking for somewhere between $500 and $550 USD. Any concerns/praise for it or is the price too high? He spent $514 for the parts and shipping from Newegg so I figure no more than 550…

You might need to upgrade your video card and total memory for the newest games, but other than that it looks good. And heck, I paid more for my vid card and memory than that entire computer. Go for it!

Oh, is there a monitor? What size / kind?

Malone out.

I already have a nice monitor, I don’t need a new one.

For the money it’s not a bad system, though if you can it would be good to upgrade the graphics card, as Mal said, and increase the RAM to 1GB.

Firks..

Before you buy it make sure it will take at least a meg of ram, and a different graphic card. the LSI tech is the newest, I just got a dual graphic card, dual core tech system for 900 from Nanosys1.com. They build systems and Pit can tell you they are very reasonable. The buisness is on the campass of the U of M and I have had several computers built and upgraded. IMO getting this information is critical, it tells you whether you can upgrade the system or if this is new system with out dated but new parts. Email Kas he is into these things way more than me.

20 to 24 pin converters wreck your pc.

If you want a 7300, get a GS, they are more popular cheaper etc.

Wester Digital get pwnd by Seagate

And 512 is nearly as bad as my current piece of sh*t >_>

asus is one of the better component brands squid…intell will pwn u and u no it :stuck_out_tongue: …

and having a 7300GS myself, the 7300gt will play any game currently released fiirkan, and for the price u cant rly complain about that…My GS runs BF2142 on high detail with no lag

DFI Lanparty + AMD FX55 = pwn any intel and asus >_>

Lockage pwns all since I’m not buying it.

Squid.. Your avatar under your name is kinda gay… It scares me a little… It needs to be eradicated!

Micheal Jackson would scare anyone

yeah since he started molesting those kids… creep.

I heard he hasn’t visited his “Neverland” ranch since that “incident”. I think he is living with the king of Pakistan or some other lousy country. He is can’t pay his lawyers. He needs a very good shrink.

Back on topic:
Why did you decide not to buy that computer?

Malone out.

I’ll be building my own next year once Vista comes out and Dx10 support is standardized and the new pipeline designs comes out.

Vista is resourse heavy, DX10 will only be supported on Vista and the new NVidia 8800GTX is out which doesnt use pipelines anymore and natively uses DX10.

hold on, its out soon isnt it? its not actually for sale right now as far as i could find ne where on the net :S

Out this week so for all intents and purposes its pretty much out.

It’s gonna have a big ol pricetag XD
